One problem is the competition. There's too much of it. If you try selling Vitamins or Health Juice or Weight Loss you're working against 1,000's and 1,000's of others doing the same thing.
You also have Amazon and Target and Walmart and GNC and Grocery Stores to compete with.
The average person will not be able to earn in that environment. We can't compete against the advertising budgets these companies have. They can also usually sell similar products for less money, too.
MLM works...but you have to stay as far away from the above problems as you can. How?
Well...don't sell pills, potions, or lotions, or juices. Stay away from anything in the Health or Weight Loss Field.
Also...before you start, make sure the program you're considering is affordable for you. Avoid any company with an enrollment fee. Avoid any company with expensive products when just starting out. You can add big ticket items later when you've started making side-hustle income!
Avoid companies with complicated pay plans and, as stated above, avoid companies with a lot of competition.
The biggest thing you should do if you really, really, really want to work from home and/or have a side-hustle is don't quit! I guarantee you will never have an independent lifestyle if you quit. Working 9 to 5 in a job is designed to make others rich...not you.
So no matter how frustrating Networking can be...keep trying. It doesn't mean you're a failure if what you joined didn't work out. It just means you had a learning experience and you can take that experience to something new.

Just remember that Networking and MLM are going to be frustrating at times and at the same time remember not to quit. Only quitters fail.
Let me share one fellow marketers MLM experience. Once he joined a company he was unable to recruit anyone his entire first year in the business...but he didn't quit. During the beginning of his second year he finally recruited some people. A little over 500 folks. He said that only some of his recruits did much at all but of those few, 85 of them made him a millionaire! That's a lesson for all of us!
